YOGA with Dr. Antoinette

Dr. Antoinette has her doctorate in Religious Studies and is a certified Yoga Therapist, an experienced Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Practitioner.  She loves to teach and share the wisdom that has been passed down to her.

These hour long classes are a fun and lively way to practice Yoga with a compassionate and experienced teacher!  Join Antoinette as she teaches Yoga philosophy, and guides you through simple and results driven Yoga postures.  All levels of practitioner welcome.  Must be able to get up off floor unassisted. Bring Yoga Mat, Block, Yoga Blanket and Strap.

Held inside at the Malta Community Center.   

Gentle Yoga
Gentle yoga is a slow and therapeutic yoga, with breath awareness and

meditations. Reduce stress levels in the body, feel a positive shift and support

the immune systems while experiencing a joyful peace.  Lasting effects both on

and off your yoga mat.

Classical Hatha Yoga for Life
This class is great for all levels of practitioners from newer to experienced. Make Thursday mornings your best time of the week! Get energized and build strength and flexibility, tone muscles, and experience overall well being on and off your mat. Lively sequences and fun music create the stage for getting fit and shifting your mind , body and spirit! Learn breath and meditation techniques to assist in a positive direction and focus for your life!

Therapeutic chair with flair Yoga!
An upbeat and effective way to practice chair yoga! Join Antoinette and move for the better! This class will assist in better strength, movement, ease of joint inflammation and pain, and over all better flexibility to keep you moving!  Breath work and meditation will assist in becoming more aware of your healing. Great for anyone wanting to practice yoga, but needs support in balance or assistance in movement with the use of a stable chair. Are you ready to experience a positive shift? Sign up today!

Therapeutic Yoga For Real Life - Yin Yoga
Instructor Dr. Antoinette DiMascio, Ph.D., Yoga Therapist
Join Dr. Antoinette and experience deep muscle release and toning in this gentle yet powerful practice! Yin yoga assists in immune boosting,healing, for the body, mind and spirit ailments.  The poses are held for longer periods of time, allowing the yogi to find correct posturing, breathe deep, and the body to experience therapeutic healing! This deep and ancient practice is not to be missed!  Leave feeling better!! All levels welcome!  Must be able to get up off the floor unassisted.


Therapeutic Yin Yoga with Sheri
Instructor: Sheri Huff
Sheri is a well-loved yoga teacher in the Saratoga area with over 3 years experience.  She holds certifications in Yoga and Yin Teacher training. She has experience teaching at the YMCA and Dance Museum.  Sheri has a gentle calming presence in the studio and provides accurate concise instruction for students.
Yin yoga works deeply into the body with passive, longer-held poses.  It targets deeper tissues and fascia-connective tissues-ligaments, joints, bones and the deep networks of the body.  This is in contrast to Yin yoga which targets the muscles.  Energetically, Yin yoga improves energy flow to the organs and enhances healthy organs, muscles and general well-being.  Yin also offers wonderful emotional & mental health benefits. Come join in the calming class to help relax you after a long work day.

 Drop In’s $15 per class
You can try one of the above classes for a fee of $15. Registration will be taken at the front desk on the day of the class. Please arrive 15 minutes early if you plan on attending as a drop in
