The Citizen Preparedness Corps is a program led by the NYS Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services. It teaches the basic principles of emergency preparedness, response and recovery in the event of a disaster. This course will also assist families in developing a Family Emergency Plan, building a "Go-Bag" and give information on Active Shooter scenarios. This is a free training event instructed by members of the NY Army National Guard.
