Beginning Ballet Class
Instructor: Leslie Kettlewell
In beginning ballet class, a beautiful transformation takes place- a dancer is born! More discipline is implemented but the children are ready and eager for greater challenges. The steps will be more technical: plies (bending knees while feet are in different positions), sautés (a variety of leaps and jumps), and so much more. Toward the end of the class the magic of story imagery and props to bring the dance steps they have been practicing come alive in simple choreographed sequences.
