Instructor: Doug Hallberg
Doug Hallberg has a Masters in Fine Arts in glass from Rochester Institute of Technology and was a 5-12 grade Art teacher for 16 years in Edmeston, NY. Since retirement, Doug was awarded a NYS grant to open and operate a private art school from 2012-2018 in Oneonta, NY. He recently relocated his studio to Mechanicville, NY. He has completed numerous restoration projects of Stained-Glass windows in many churches in central New York and has also constructed large corporate windows for Merck Inc. and Corning Inc. among others.
Most of all Doug enjoys teaching and introducing the exciting world of Stained-Glass Art and Craft to people of all ages.

The classes below will be a mix of new and previous student that would like to get more studio time.  So feel free to sign up!  

All Level Stained Glass Class 
In this relaxing class for beginners AND ALL experience levels you will advance your design, glass cutting and copper foil assembly skills. Assistance, materials and tool use will be provided you to create colorful window hangings and decorative mirrors while meeting new friends!
