Floral Design with Denise
Instructor: Denise Rutledge
Denise began her career as a floral designer earning several certificates in Floral Design from The Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, NY. She worked and trained at Price Chopper in the floral department in Saratoga Springs. In recent years her favorite hobby is floral photography. Denise’s photographs have been published multiple times in The Saratoga Today Newspaper winning “Photo of the Week” and “Honorable Mention” since 2021. She has taught floral design and wreath making since 2019. She always encourages intuitive creativity with her students while having fun!
Harvest Grapevine Wreath
Join us for this Fall inspired wreath class where you will learn design techniques on how to make a Harvest Grapevine Wreath using pine cones, leaves, cattails and dried grass. Each student will create a ready to hang wreath by the end of the class.
Please bring a glue gun, wired ribbon (optional) and creativity!
Fresh Floral Pumpkin Centerpiece
Learn how to make your own in this one-day class? You will arrange a colorful mix of Autumn florals to create a lovely centerpiece in a fresh pumpkin. Supplies include; floral foam, tape, fillers and several grouping of seasonal florals.
Students need to bring in a small/medium pumpkin, a pair of scissors and spoon. Additional florals are optional.
Elegant Floral Thanksgiving Tablescape
Turn your Thanksgiving table into an elegant, calming setting for a wonderful holiday gathering. This will be a low-level table hugging design that will compliment any table!
We’ll use eucalyptus, chrysanthemum, pine cones, fall leaves, fillers and candles. We will also supply platter, floral form, tape and wire.
Holiday Arrangement to Deck your Winter Table
Elevate your holiday decor with this centerpiece. This arrangement will be the perfect addition to your winter table decor. This floral arrangement will boast a captivating blend of colors and textures, ensuring it stands out as a stunning centerpiece that captures the seasons spirit.
Supplies included: Artificial flowers using winter greens, roses, berries, various florals, floral foam, candles and wire.
