Barbara has been painting since her early teens. She is mostly self-taught, but early on studied portraiture. Barbara has taught group oil painting in Florida. Barbara invites you to her studio in Malta by appointment. She has performed in several shows through the Southern Saratoga Art Gallery and is featured in their online gallery. Barbara took a felting class a year ago and has become addicted!
Join Barbara as she guides you through the creative world of felting. You'll explore various types of felting, with hands-on examples to help you understand the unique qualities of each. Barbara will demonstrate accessible techniques that allow anyone, from beginners to experienced crafters, to create beautiful, personalized pieces at their own pace.
In this class, you will learn: The essential supplies needed for felting, how portable and versatile this medium can be, where to find and purchase materials, and how to infuse each project with your own creative style.
By the end of the session, each participant will have a completed felting project to take home. No prior experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity and creativity!
