Instructor: Rebecca Peters
Rebecca is a Visual Artist, Art Educator and Curator. Her work has been shown locally and at Plein Air Painting events, Rebecca has taught Art in both public and private schools along with Continuing Education Classes. She has also provided art instruction for individuals with developmental disabilities for many years. Rebecca has a background in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking. Her imagery ranges from Abstraction to Plein Air - Landscape Painting.
Gouache and Watercolor Workshop
This Course is for Beginner and Intermediate students. The focus will be on mixing colors with a limited palette and working on both wet and dry surfaces, while exploring new techniques. Demonstrations and Seasonal themes will be presented each week. References, Paper, Watercolors, and Brushes will be provided. Students must purchase their own Gouache Paints and plastic palettes. Students feel free to bring your own brushes.
Monday Night Beginner Watercolor Workshop with Rebecca Peters
This Course is for the Beginning Watercolor Student. Each student will learn basic color theory, along with drawing and painting techniques through a series of 6 sessions. Choices about subjects will be given within a Theme for each session. The focus will be on working with a limited palette and working on both wet and dry surfaces while exploring various techniques. All materials are included; Watercolors, Paper, Printed Color References and simple palettes will be provided. Students may bring their own paints and brushes if they wish.
